B. C. Rich Mockingbird SL Model Electronics

Have you ever wondered what for where all those knobs and switches on the B.C. Rich Mockingbird SL Model (Slash's signature model)?
     Here're the answers:

The master volume knob (1), the 3 way pickup selector (2) and the master tone knob (8) are regular in most electric guitars.
The preamp switch (3a) activates a preamp (powered by a 9v battery) that creates a big amount of gain for those extra-saturated leads!
The varitone knob (4) is a 6 position rotary knob that changes the volume and tone of the guitar when you rotate it.
There's also a regular phase switch (5) and finally there are the neck (6) and bridge (7) dual sound switches that allows you to switch between single
coil / humbucker modes the neck and bridge pickups.
